Encapsulation seals printed material between two protective layers of polyester with no exposed edges. This protects prints from dirt, dust, moisture, or the grubby fingers of the enquiring mind. Ideal for site plans and technical drawings, also useful in kitchens or washrooms where there is a humid atmosphere. Signs and posters can be wiped clean and disinfected so this process is great for sterile environment like hospitals.

Sizes of encapsulation range from credit card size up to 50” and as long as you like. We have a range of five different grades, and a choice of matt or gloss finish. A common misconception is that prints that have been encapsulated cannot be trimmed flush. This is not the case; prints can be trimmed flush and even cut into shapes, under normal circumstances the film will not come off.
